What new developments in feed production, processing, design etc have happened recently?

Many competition horses travel far afield to compete and can be away from home for a number or weeks or even months.  This can pose significant challenges when trying to ensure that their hard feed remains fresh, especially when in warm or humid environments.

To help overcome these issues Connolly’s RED MILLS have pioneered a unique process of packaging and preservation technology called Nutrient Fresh Management System (NFMS).  A world first, NFMS uses seven tiers of natural preservation to maintain perfect freshness for up to 12 months. This allows riders to order and store feed wherever they are in the world and ensures that the feed retains all the quality and freshness from the day it was first made.
