"The great thing about my job is developing relationships with clients and their horses. Clients put a great deal of trust in ourselves and our products, and it is very rewarding when we see our advice and our feeds making the difference to them. It’s always been important to me to keep up to date with current industry research so that the advice I provide is based on sound scientific practice, RED MILLS are excellent at providing me with the opportunities to do this. I am most passionate about getting it right and in doing so improving the performance and welfare of horses across the country.
As anyone involved with horses will know our work is not 9-5, Monday to Friday! My work never stops and a lot of what we do carries on outside of work, from attending race meetings and point to point meets as well as Show jumping and Eventing competitions. I do try to get a bit of down time to spend with my dogs and get out on the northern fells with the horses."
