Today’s (Thursday) opening day of the five-star Stuttgart German Masters has seen Cork’s Billy Twomey take victory in the Prize of Bardusch 1m45 two phase competition.

Riding the Joe Flynn-owned 14-year-old Irish Sport Horse stallion Ardcolum Duke, Twomey completed the second phase clear in 18.97 seconds to take the winners prize ahead of Germany’s Andreas Kreuzer in second with Easy Blue (19.18).
