Tattersalls International Horse Trials and Country Fair in association with Horse Sport Ireland, kicks-off at Ratoath in Meath this Wednesday, 1 June, with the Connolly’s RED MILLS CCI2* Under 24 competition promising to be one of the highlights of a packed schedule.

Olympic Gold, Bronze and Silver medallists, World Equestrian Games winners, the Irish Olympic squad and the Queen’s granddaughter are just some of the competitors set to descend on the Meath venue for the 11th renewal of the world renowned event.

Last year’s Connolly’s RED MILLS CCI2* Under 24 competition at Tattersalls was won by Britain’s Tom McEwen riding Joyride. Irish riders Michelle Kenny, Harold Megahey and Nessa Briody all finished in the top ten and riders from the home nation are again expected to feature strongly among a strong international field.

The Connolly’s RED MILLS CCI2* Under 24 class gets underway with the dressage phase on Thursday, 2 June, with the cross country phase taking place on Saturday, 4 June. The much anticipated prize giving ceremony will follow the concluding showjumping phase on Sunday, 5 June.

Connolly’s RED MILLS representatives will be in attendance at Tattersalls throughout the week so why not visit the RED MILLS trade stand for feed advice and information on the wide range of Connolly’s RED MILLS products on offer.
