The League features 18 rounds throughout Munster, with €2,000 up for grabs at each venue along with an additional prize to the overall League winner.

Francis Connors has won the Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix League for the past three years running and will be among the favourites to lift the title again at the final round of the 2016 series at Banteer Gymkhana in September.

Irish feed company Connolly’s RED MILLS continue as title sponsor for the fifth consecutive year. Gareth Connolly, Sales and Marketing Director at Connolly’s RED MILLS said: “We are looking forward to another great summer of jumping and are more than happy to continue our support of the Munster Grand Prix League again this year. We are particularly delighted to be involved with events like this that allow young horses the stepping stone to reach their potential. We wish all competitors the best of luck in the months ahead.”

Tony Hurley, Chairman of the Munster region of Showjumping Ireland added: “We are delighted to welcome RED MILLS  back on board with us again this year. Without their generous sponsorship we would not be able to run the League, which has been running now for many years and has gone from strength to strength, providing some top class jumping at our regions shows and we hope that this year will be no different. The Connolly’s RED MILLS Munster Grand Prix has proved to be a great class for up and coming riders and horses. Many of our region’s top young riders have come through the Grand Prix League, along with horses who having competed in the league have gone on on to compete on a national and international stage.”
