Eduardo Alvarez Aznar

Son of six time Olympic rider Luis Alvarez de Cervera. Eduardo started riding at 3. He got his first Gold Medal around 10 years old with his pony Nanouk during the Spanish Championships.

After a bad injury in a skiing accident in 2012 that required surgery, he began jumping again the next year. Eduardo won his very first 5* Grand Prix early 2017.

His advice for all riders: “The most important thing for a rider is to have clear and well-marked objectives. The percentage of effectiveness is not always set by the rider, it largely depends on the horse”.
