Luciana Diniz

Luciana, originally from Brazil, began horse riding at her parent’s farm as a child. Now with a showjumping career full of accolades, Luciana says that her mother and father remain her biggest influence to this day. Luciana’s mother, Lica, is an eight time Brazilian National Dressage Championship winner, which earned her a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. Her father, Arnaldo, was an enthusiastic polo player. Based in Germany, Luciana has competed for Portugal since 2006.

Luciana was the Children’s Jumping Champion in her home country, brazil at age 12 and was the Junior Jumping Champion at age 14 and then again at 18. Luciana left Brazil to train in Belgium with the great Nelson Pessoa. What was planned as a one year trip has turned into half of a lifetime…

G.R.O.W. 2 Ride Great is an equestrian philosophy created by the international show jumping rider Luciana Diniz. Through her “G.R.O.W. 2 Ride Great” programme, Luciana aims to help riders learn more about their life through riding and help them interact with their horses in more mindful ways.
